Matt and Celsey had their beautiful valentines day wedding at the stunning St Audries Park in West Quantoxhead, Somerset.
The day started off with Celsey, her mum & sister (maid of honour) getting ready in the bridal dressing room with plenty of Bucks fizz flowing! With the help of Celsey and Helen we carried the wedding dress to the stairs as I had been planning to get a photo of it hanging from the banister. I think Helen nearly had a heart attack when we let go of the dress, fortunately it didn't fall!
I spent the morning capturing the bridal party having their hair and make up done, all the little details, the ceremony set up and the guests that had started to arrive.
Before the ceremony Celsey and her dad spent some time alone together. It was such a special moment when Chris saw his daughter for the first time in her wedding dress. The smile on his face said it all.
Matt and the guests all enjoyed a drink at the bar before the ceremony started.
Matt and Celsey were married in the Victorian orangery. It was decorated with vines, red roses and butterflies on the pillars. It looked beautiful and perfect for a winter wedding.
Fortunately the rain had stopped when it was time for the confetti, but it was still pretty windy and I think the guests got just as much confetti in their faces as Matt & Celsey did!
After drinks, canapes & some formal photos, Matt had a little surprise for Celsey.......
He took her to the drawing room and told her he had been learning to play the piano. Celsey's face was a picture! It was such a lovely moment to witness! Matt then played "All of me" by John Legend whilst Celsey sat watching on the back of the purple velvet sofa.
Before the wedding breakfast I took the newlyweds outside for their couple photos. It had started to rain again so the best man, Ben kindly held an umbrella over me.
During the wedding breakfast the non resident cat, Molly was sat by the window just begging to be let in!
Their wedding cake was made by a family friend and was beautifully decorated with butterflies, a flower trail and 2 Deer on the top.
The first dance took place in the great hall in front of the huge open fire! Half way through, I ran up the stairs to take some shots from the balcony for a different perspective.
Before it was time for me to go I captured the father & Daughter and Mother & Son dances. I found it quite emotional, especially when Celsey beckoned for her mum, brother & Sister to join them half way through.
I enjoyed every second of capturing their day and wish them all the very best for their future
